Polish's Christmas starts on 24th December. This day is called Vigil. All family comes to the table waiting for first star on the sky. The star is memory's the start, which leaded "Three Kings" into stable. In these magic moments of our families we read Holy Scripture and pray to the God. Before the supper, family break wafer and fold their wishes. After that Poles begin supper which is one of the most important parts of celebraiting. Traditional foods on the table are: carp, borsch, ginger cake, bread, stewed fruits. When the supper finished all family sing the Christmas song and enter the presents, which Santa Claus bring under Christmas tree. Then children go to bed and the rest of the family goes to a church for a special mess. This symbol of Jesus Christ birth's is called "Pasterka" and begins at midnight. 26 December is day on reminder st. Szczepana- martyr Christian.
